All the staff are really friendly and happy to help with all aspects of your stay. Good breakfast of omlette on a roll. We booked our Halong Bay trip with Peter on the Fantasea and it was a good boat with great staff and tour guide. Always greeted with a smile

Water pressure in the shoer was poor but nice and warm We had a room with a balcony which was a little noisy in the mornings, but we were grateful for the early check in

Mary and Peter are very nice people! Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, der Service ist spitze und wir konnten mit all unseren Fragen zu ihnen kommen und wurden gut beraten! Free Wifi und viel gut schmeckender Kaffee und Tee sobald man im Foyer saß haben den Aufenthalt abgerundet! Absolute Empfehlung!

No Wifi in room 403 (at the Top)

we had a great stay with Peter and Mary. They went above and beound to help us during our stay. The hotle is very well kept and we slept very well during our stay.

I enjoyed the stay very much. The staffs are very nice and friendly. The room is clean and spacious enough. Would definitely look to stay here again next time. Thanks for everything & keep up the good work Peter & Mary :)

The owners of this fabulous little hostel could not make you more welcome. They are more than happy to help you with almost anything, whether it be a sim card (which they bought on our behalf) or ordering a cab and organising the price beforehand. The rooms are spotless and well appointed. All in all this hostel is great value for a budget traveller. They are also happy to to teach you basic Vietnamese, if you are interested. One of the best places we have stayed.

The staff is very helpful for everyday life and they can arrange very good deals for trips in Halong Bay and Sapa. They also help you with the taxi drivers. The location very close to the old city is excellent. Family room is good for a family used to stay in backpacking conditions.

Breakfast is a bit light (tea or coffee +eggs + bread and jan) and breakfast room in the corridor is not very comfortable.

The owners and staff were all very helpful and friendly. They organised a good tour of Halong Bay for us at a reasonable price, and allowed us to leave our luggage while we were on the tour and a later tour to Sapa. The breakfast was simple but good (omelette, baguette and jam) and they were always happy to make you free tea and coffee whenever you wanted it. Wifi was useful for booking onward travel and hotels. A very minor point was that the bed sheets felt quite waxy - I can imagine that in the summer, they would make you very hot and sweaty.

Great location, staff and value for money. Just an indication how great the staff is: Tom, one of the staff members, noticed my birthday and brought a cake on the day to celebrate. It is a budget hotel, so if you adjust your expectations accordingly, you'll be happily surprised.

The balcony on the top room is great! The personel is very friendly and helps you with everything you want/need. The price is great, but don't expect too much comfort.

The breakfast, we had butter that was over date, and it's a very small breakfast. The comfort of the room, every time we turned around in the bed, it maked noice.
